I'm curious, what is everyone's favorite brew? Whether it be homebrew or commercial I want to know what everyone is enjoying!

Is there a local brewery near you that makes something amazing? Do you just make the best damn beer in the world (as we all want to believe we do)? Or is there a more nationally available beer that you would drink above all else?

A small local microbrewery in Bristol, CT called Firefly Hollow makes a DIPA called Cone Flakes. I'm not normally a mega hophead but this brew is delicious.

Boring as heck, but Sierra Nevada Torpedo is just great, to me. I'm an incredibly cheap man, who likes beer. Torpedo hits the sweet spot of tasty and cheap-ish.

I'm laughing to myself, when I actually go to a bar, I drink Old Milwaukee Light. However there is a microbrewery Angry Hanks that makes a dunkel weizen that I still crave crave. I think it was called dirty girl.

Kostritzer!!
Hands down nothing else comes close.

I am not too far from there. Methinks a trip I shall have to make...

Cantillon Classic Gueuze -- Simply impeccable. Sours might just be getting popular now, but these guys have been killing it for over a century. And they are still the best.

the best 1 is the 1 in my glass right now ;) . really, my favorite, and i miss it now that it's out of production, is New Belgium's Snow Day.

Kinda sorta a tie. Commercial: Three Floyd's Zombie Dust. Homebrew: Zombie Dust clone and a pale ale I call 7 Seas.

I like a cask-conditioned session ale in a mellow publick house on a Sunday afternoon.

I live about a 1/4 mile from angry hanks.
;)

You guys are makin me sad!!! I used to live by them and they are what made me appreciate craft brews. Since moving to ND. I REALLY miss them because things are WAY overpriced here concerning anything micro brew related

Small local place named Noon Whistle Brewing makes a Scotch Ale called the High Falutin' best I ever had.

great line from T2 when John Conner tells his mom the cops are on scene and she asks, "how many?"

his reply, "all of them?"

is my reply to this question

seriously, it would be easier to answer which beers I hate. Magic Hat #9 is about it, so far

I like the way you think. You are a gentleman and a scholar.

Whenever the Brew & A interviews post and this question is asked, I try to think of what my answer would be. I don't think I have one. I like a lot of different beers for a lot of reasons.

no favorite. i go through phases. into more malty styles right now. i like IPAs but couldnt care less about them at this moment. still into sours though, i dont thnk that will ever change.

I completely agree with the Magic Hat part!

The one in front of me. I like a lot of different beers for different reasons. But I'm still working on cloning that " good beer flavor" from the lagers & pilsners from the 50's to about 1965. And old/rare/extinct German beers.
