Will be heading to the Referend with the little guy for around 2/215. Will be hanging out for 30-45 minutes.

We're probably going to miss each other, but I think I am going today too. Probably gonna bother Timmush first.

I am sure you are breathing a sigh of relief as you read this.

For anybody that hasn't already been to Melovino at some point, they're going to start having regular tasting room hours next year:

The first ever MEAD BAR in NJ is coming January 20th!
We are gearing up for our grand reopening at Melovino with open tasting room hours every Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 12pm-10pm starting on January 20th!

Since our draft list will be rotating quite frequently, we have a live draft menu that will be kept synced over our website, Facebook page and Untappd to keep you up to date on everything we’ve got going on.

Most of our draft meads are 4-7% abv and will be available for you to take home in cans filled to order nice and fresh. Bottle pours will also obviously be available as always.

Come on by starting January 20th to hang out and enjoy some lovely libations at New Jersey's first ever mead bar!

And do us a favor, start sharing this around!

Here is a sneak peek of the draft list set for January 20th.

Previously, you had to book and pay for a tour in advance, which was kind of a pain in the ass. They have also had sporadic open tasting nights, which I've been to and enjoyed.

They also seem to have really expanded their lower ABV draft offerings to coincide with the opening of the tasting room, which is a good move. I haven't loved their hoppy meads, but the fruited draft stuff has generally been very good, so I'm looking forward to having more of that.

Great day at Kane. Not too crowded, the onsite pours were ridiculous (Bourbon Barrel Malus, Bourbon Barrel Fall Saints, Rye Barrel Christian Patrick), and there was a very nice surprise in the bottles to go department...

So, I missed out on something bc I was thinking of going.... and clearly did not. Sad!

Wife (!) just talked me into going to Kane today. Hopefully they have some bottles leftover. What a wife (even though I know she really just wants to go to Wegmans/Monmouth Mall).
The surprise bottles seemed to be lasting by the time I left yesterday, and I didn’t see any mention of it by anyone on social media. With any luck, you will be quite pleasantly surprised today!

Timmush furthers the willies everywhere he goes.

Made it to Carton today around 3pm but missed out on Regular Coffee. First time in years I've actually struck out on RC cans. Shocked how quickly they went. Oh well, a case of Boat/This Town is not a bad consolation prize.
