just as a little note on the kelly green bottles.. somebody else does them then who does the normal kelly green beers and the guy from all accounts seems to be well respected and knows his stuff

I concur with Talkbeer Gene and the good doctor, the new batch of Shamanic is straight fire. Also, good to meet skrip at Conclave. Wish I could have stayed longer to drink more tasty beer.

Any bottles available for me? :)

Would that I could dude, but 3/4 of those bottles already have someone else's name on them.

So wait ... are you saying a different person brews the bottles, or is someone else suggesting there is? Also, from my interactions with them, everyone there is real nice and friendly. But based on what I've had to drink there, I couldn't possibly recommend paying $.70+/oz for one of their bottles. And to your point on knowledge and respect, I do believe the knowledge of styles is there from their team, just not the precision and execution. I mean the description for Pecher is basically a warning that you're paying $20 for an instant gusher with fruit particles that they didn't have the patience/skill/time to filter out. That's pretty amateur.

Now, were you asking for all that? No. But I wanted to vent a little bit. Cheers!

Walked by Würstbar today and noticed a little blurb on their specials chalkboard: "Bottle Share Mondays, $5 buy in." Of course I didn't think to snap a photo, and of course they don't have any posts about it on the social media I checked (FB, IG).

Anyone know anything about it? I'm always very skeptical of **** like this but curious anyway.

I wonder how many weeks in a row I can bring a 15%+ Bruery beer before they tell me to stop attending.

It *was* odd. First I saw they had Brotherton OT. Then I saw that. Insert obligatory sausage party and beer comment here.

I would go to see that.

Lol. Aaron was trying to convince me to come to one. These days I'm partial to solo doming bottles in front of my tv, but if you decide to go, I'll turn over my couch cushions and scrape enough change together for the entry fee and come be social for a change.

You (and raginasian238 for that matter) really need to come watch some wrestling in axeman9182's basement with us some time in the near future. Between Bill, Rob, and Chewy, someone always has a bottle of big ass Bruery stout hidden in their shorts at all times.

I love me a good sausage party and some bruery stouts but that sounds awful.

I've taken to always keeping a bottle of Chocolate Rain in the fridge just to keep people on their toes.

You had me at wrestling, but you lost me at Bill.

Also, insert obligatory "Is that a Bruery stout in your pants or are you just happy to see me?"

Solo doming in front of the TV > paying $5 to interact with weirdos who could show up with shelfies... or Chocolate Rain

I think there has to be atleast some parameter to the bottle share. although there are so many beer drinkers who love showing off their latest beer hauls, i could see this being a big ol swick dinging convention.

yes from my understanding all the barrel beers are done by somebody different.. also the warning about the gusher is more of a it's lively notice for people who have never had a beer with live culture where the foam creeps up the neck after a few seconds of it being open.. i doubt it's going to spray the walls/ceiling.

more for others if it's not your thing.. don't be shocked to see people iso after reports on how it taste start to trickle out...

Seems exceedingly confusing. What's the reasoning

Did a little research today (i.e. one google search) and found the background of the bottles: http://www.alesoftheriverwards.com/2016/08/im-taking-my-talents-to-pitman-new.html

This actually gives me hopes for this line, but I'd be more eager if there was a way to taste these beers without shelling out $20. I'm not a business man, but it seems like this would have been a chance to start a gypsy brewery under his own label. Seems like his blog has a good following, and he could have done his own branding and merch instead of tying his beers to Kelly Green. Judging by the blog entry though, that'd be probably be too much of commitment.

Thanks for sorting this all out. I'll keep an eye for now

2nd Story here in Philly actually does something similar though they don't do bottle releases. Someone does their barrel aging off site and the beer just gets brought back to be tapped at the brewpub. His reasoning is paranoia though as he doesn't want to have to worry about infection in the normal brewhouse.

good sluething haha.. i kid i kid.. i don't know any of the "why's" but have heard from people's who opinion on beer i trust and they all said that Adit was very good.. that's enough for me
Yeah I had people from Cali asking me about it and if I had any (I was on my way to Dungeons & Dragons campaign about 10minutes away and said "Lolz, I'll stop tomorrow." Well I was wrong)

damn.. figured haddonfield would eventually have something but had hopes there would be more brewing experience in the mix.. maybe they'll hire some talent
