Any insight into why they'd do this? Seemed like they had enough demand locally based on releases selling out and the distro stuff being less than easy to stumble upon.

Maybe it's just a "hey we can send like 10 kegs a year to Boston and maintain/increase our hype quotient, thereby ensuring that people will come from far and wide to tick our pretty good beer" kind of thing.

Yeah. Good for them, I guess. Like you said, the beer IS pretty good. And like Gene has said, it's nice the hype is being driven more or less by quality.

I've heard rumors that their cans sell great but the kegs don't.... so who knows. I always feel like you should make your locals happy first before moving on but what do I know

On another note. $12 per 6pk, 1 case limit. That's how it's done. I'm venting, I'm tired of the $18-$24 4pk prices being thrown out there from the likes of Tired Hands, Other Half, Magnify, Carton etc etc
