Anyone have a restaurant suggestion or two within like 20 (30 max) minutes of Wayne that's not Taphouse Grille? Looking for decent taplists but better than average food if possible. Wish there were any brewpubs within that distance but haven't heard of anything opening up yet. Thanks!

Cowan's in Nutley or The Barrow House in Clifton

They're both a little pricey for the area, but the food is really good and the taplist should at least be solid at both. Barrow House is *much* bigger than Cowan's, there's a decent chance you end up with a wait for a table at the latter.

To toss out another option, Dog and Cask is pretty good as well.

Looking pretty solid that I'll be heading down. Planning to be at Kane at opening, hang out for 30-45 minutes, and then shoot over to Conclave. Timmush better not pour out all the G3 before we get there.

nice i'm definitely in! i'll be there with a couple friends. we should be there around 1-1:30 if all goes well at the gig. and yesss please save us some G3!!

So there were some things left over from the Kane event at Cloverleaf last night. Namely (and surprisingly), ANTEAD coffee and coconut. What I learned was that the ANTEAD coffee, which was advertised as being from a previous year, was actually fresh (and really ******* good). So if you like ANTEAD coffee, I guess it's coming back this year.

Nice. I can't wait for me and my friends to enter the lottery for ANTEAD and get absolutely nothing again, oh yes.

I was told that was a 2014 keg

It said 2014 on the menu, and the bartender I spoke with told me they were expecting to get a 2014 keg. But apparently, when it was delivered, they were all very surprised to learn that it was fresh.

Beyond that, it certainly tasted fresh.
glennl haaalp!

anyone know anything about Kelly Green Brewing in Pitman?

Ohhhhh ... a South Jersey question I can give input on!

Smaller brewery (believe they started at 1 barrel) that I desperately wanted to like. Chalked up getting hop pellet pieces in their first hazy ipa attempt as just working out the kinks (though being told "That's how they're supposed to be" rubbed me the wrong way). Brought some friends with me to see what they thought a couple months ago: half of the beers were flat, and their new dipa tasted like a borderline chemical.

So short story long, no way could I justify spending that money on their bottles. Would love for someone else on here to visit and give their thoughts, especially since Human Village is next door (which is a nicer space, and has (in my opinion) nicer beers). Maybe it's me?

And I guess Human Village is... yet another new south Jersey brewery I haven't heard of?

You know ... Human Village??? Twenty minutes south of Lunacy Brewing (before they move)??? Which is twelve minutes south of Tonewood?? Which is another twelve minutes south of Eclipse?

So basically just like North Jersey ...
