Referend/troon/conclave thinking of doing this tomorrow and hitting the Pennington driving range to start it up around 10/10:30 am.

Anybody recommend a coffee/breakfast spot near this area. Just a quick bite but quality above low rate.

Any other Tb locals around?

Pennington Bagel! Right in the shopping center by the driving range.

If in Hopewell, stop at Michael's Deli. Best Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese there is.

You're right in my old stomping grounds, but wife is protesting in DC tomorrow, I'm on triple kid duty.

Yeah my wife I think is doing Philly so I'm on triple brewery duty. Thanks for the food spots may try to hit both if time permits.

^It was a good time. When you or anybody else in the area have a free Saturday i highly recommend going up to that Sourland Mountain area NJ and checking out Troon/Referend and Unionville for some wine too.

Everything is in a nice 25 mile range so it's easy to hit them all.

Troons beers were all solid and seeing what the Referend was all about was fun too. I'll be keeping an eye out for both of these guys.

Conclave is always great to visit, killing it like normal.

Trady Thanks, pennington bagel was a good, got a Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese.. didn't get to hit Michael's Deli.. will have to stop there the the next time I go up that way. This general NJ area seems ripe for a SJ/NJ hangout sometime in the spring/summer

Pennington Bagel is my jam. I grew up about 2 miles down the road from the Sourland Mountain Reserve, just past Hillbilly Hall (if you happened to miss it, yes, it's a real place). I'm always looking for an excuse to visit the hometown.

February 10 and 11th Conclave is putting on a special beer. Cask conditioned 8%'stout barrel aged in a bourbon (scotch-esque) barrel. All proceeds, are going to https://www.youcaring.com/oscruz-745386 We are calling it "Buddy" because Buddy was the man!! Os has always been the best to us and I think Buddy was the first official customer at our place.

Awesome.
Not that I needed a reason to go back, but sometimes it is easier to get out of I explain "I don't want to drink beer, it's for charity."
