I'll have to see if the village people have donated to good will lately. If so, I'm sure I could arrange something. Maybe some flip blade knife combs for added effect.

Anyone going to Twin Elephant grand opening today or tomorrow? They are in Chatham. 12-10 today, 12-6 tomorrow. No growler fills this weekend.
Tried to twice after my last law school final ever, and the line was just way too long. Gonna have to try next weekend.

But now I have my first monday off in months and I'm just like...why can't they be open today since they're 12minutes away! haha

Good news, some left. Bad news, not enough for growlers.

Went to Poor Henry's last night to try Gravitational Waves and it'd kicked already. If the timing of the Beermenus posting was correct (and Jesse is usually on top of that), that's about 24 hours to kick. I still managed to try the Hop Ritual which was really good and I'd have no problem making that my summer standard. Either way, I hope I get to try GW the next time around.

Nice, a little State of the State

ha...

well, many of you have seen me vent about my lack of enthusiasm of a lot of NJ breweries, both old and new... from old breweries unable to adjust and improve to new breweries that don't get it or are getting hype that I don't quite understand

but all that criticism aside... there are definitely some brewers here who know what they are doing...

as Gene mentioned in the link above, we have been working with some of our favorite brewers and friends in NJ on a collaboration beer for our Charity Bottle Share... and being part of the thought process that includes augiecarton, koopa, Timmush, DJPhresh and Mike from Kane has just reinforced my opinion that there is a group of brewers that do get it in NJ and that can actually compete with the best of them...
