I'm confident that you would get an answer - the mods here do a good job.

I read the original post and the first three replies. I could see the storm rising and didn't respond.

Your opening post wasn't inappropriate at all, in my opinion, and had a useful link - but it was in the wrong subforum, given that it dealt with the issue of what folks on the more conservative side call politically correct speech.

I'm unclear why it wasn't moved to the debate forum rather than deleted, but again, a moderator could answer that for you.

i would have been fine with it moved but just to delete was a disservice to the good it could do. If it changed just one person thought on the matter. i didnt think it would have been better posted in the debate forum.

i've had a post removed. I PM'd the mod that did it. Got a valid answer back, no harm done.

don't assume anything about the 'why' it was done. either seek an answer, or drop it. Life's too short to worry about this kinda stuff
