i recently started brewing i bought a corny keg and am force carbonating. i am using the malt extract kits. my question is can i use the priming dextrose that comes with the kit in the wort when i am boiling to increase the alcohol content or should i throw it out? thank u

You can, but 5oz in a 5gal batch won't do too much. Save it up and make some Apfelwein, or use it in your coffee, or any other place you might need sugar.

It's just sugar, and if you're having a I HAVE TO USE IT NOW moment, just make some sweet tea or lemonade.

Just toss it in the boil (+0.2% ABV). It isn't all that useful as table sugar because it's only 1/5th as sweet as sucrose. If you are interested in making cider, saving it makes as much sense.
