What is O.P.?

Hi everyone,

I am looking at a beer description on New Glarus' website and do not know what O.P. is......anyone know what this is?



'At almost 20 O.P. this is the super mac daddy of Weiss beers.'

I would assume they're referring to Original Plato (O.G. measured in degrees Plato instead of Gravity)

OP refers, as others mentioned, to Original Plato, 20 OP is 1.083 OG so since they say they're almost 20 OP it's probably about 1.080 OG.
