What if I used a cranberry juice cocktail type mix instead of 100% Cranberry juice? A one gallon test... I'd say it's half apple juice and half the other stuff.

After 5 weeks I'm at 1.020 on the hydro.

The sample actually tastes decent.

i did one a while ago it was 3.5 gal cran apple, and 1.5 gal cran grape. with 2.5# dextrose


i got the gravity down from 1072 to 1007. that was after 6 or so weeks. its pretty good. i carbed it people seem to love it

If the yeast question was directed at me, I used the Montrachet as well. It's clear as can be so I'm not sure it's going to drop anymore....
