I want to throw some props to these guys in Aloha, OR:

http://brewbrothers.biz/

$33/bag for 2-row.

I found the link to them on this thread Mon, sent them an email, and they had my order ready on Fri which I just picked up. Most homebrew shops in this area are close to $50/bag if not there already.

If you are in NW Oregon and are buying in bulk, check them out. Seem like nice guys who want to serve serious homebrewers. We use almost 100 lbs per brew session so it pays even with current gas prices to drive a bit to save on malt.

Brewpal....you're amazing! I live right by the brewbrothers! Excellent find! Thank you...

$33 for 50lb of Briess two-row at Michigan Brewing Co. (thingsbeer.com), out the door. I have to drive 30 mi to get it. Have to start taking that into serious consideration these days.
Next time I am driving through Lansing I am stopping in there for sure.

Wow, that is good. Mine is $55 for 2 row and $60 for Maris. When I go to MI, I will buy bulk from them. I might need to take a trip.

One of the LHBS has American 2-row for $49.99 and Canadian for 39.99

Is there any disadvantage to Canadian two-row?

PS I think Maris Otter costs 1 arm 1 leg now

I just payed 44.00 @ Northstar Craft Brewery for 100# of Pale Ale Malt from great western:rockin::rockin::rockin:$22.00 for a bag OHHHHHHHhhh that rocks!!!!!

I called a brewpub near me and they are going to call me when they order again. They thought I could get a bag of 2 row for $25-30. I hope to order one bag and also a bag of Maris.

I pay $55 for 50lb of Briess two-row if I get it at the local brew shop, or $65 shipped from anywhere.. I am in south Florida, and we have the worst shipping costs to get it here. so you all should feel lucky.. LOL

Thanks for the site! I've been looking for a place I can order small amounts of the MFB line of grain!

I paid 28.00 for a 55lb bag of Maris Otter last year through a buddy of mine with Cascade Brewer's Society in Eugene OR.

Know enough brewers in the Seattle area for a group buy? Or know when Cascade might be doing another order? I'd be looking to get in on an group order in the PacNW whenever people are up for it...

Used to pay $46 for 50# of GW 2-Row at the LHBS, now it's $68!

Yeah i was there on the 15th and talked to the owner about it, because im going to be going all grain soon.
They need at least a weeks notice though.
They do their orders on Monday.

Hmmm. I might try them out. That's not too bad a price for MO.

Or, I might wait until I do a group order with a guy on another forum from Springfield. I think he does an order in Fall.
