BIAB Irish red ale kit from Northern Brewer for 3.5 gallons. Giving all grain 5 gallon brews a rest for awhile. Plus I wanted to finally put my 4 gallon Anvil conical fermenter to the test. Bought it 6 months ago and still have not broken in the little tyke

That's a great freezer Eric! I have one for my conical and it works great! Oh and I did get a new ball lock keg in the mail today to add to my collection. This one will be for my wife's ciders.....

I ordered about $50 of hops from Yakima Valley last week and was so excited to get them yesterday. 1/2 pounds of Sabro, Bru-1, Azzaca and Chinook. I got the delivery confirmation from Fedex. I got home from work, no package. Check the Ring, don't see it delivered. Where did it go? A little while later, a knock on the door and my neighbor hands me the package. It went to their house. Thank the beer Gods for good neighbors! Turns out, the neighbor is a homebrewer as well, so I got real lucky that they were nice and didn't decide to keep it for themselves.
John the freezer is for my new conical too. Hopefully here tomorrow. How are you running probes, heating cord etc into unit? I’m thinking to drill holes in the door. I’d like room for 2 probes and a fan and heater cord. Then I’d prob add bulkheads for gas in gas out.

The condenser hangs outside in the back, which gets it out of the "oops" equation, A Good Thing
The evaporator core sits in the back wall down low, then there's a fan above it pulling/shoving cold air all the way to the top of the back wall to the vent, so there's a plenum of some kind from bottom to top. I'd be tempted to figure out if there's a narrow vertical corridor near either corner and drill through there but you're almost certain not to hit anything going through the sides.
fwiw, I have three full side top-freezer fridges in the brewery and managed to run power/signals/gas through the back of all of them safely, using the diagrams from places like searspartsdirect.com...

I have a tri clover tee on top of the conical. On the top of the tee I have a long thermowell that runs down about halfway into the conical. The side branch of the tee I attach either a blow off or use an elbow and put on an air lock. I have a Ranco digital controller and run the probe into the thermowell. I did not drill into the freezer at this point and just close the door on the probe wire and it works very well. When I want to push out the beer I take off the air lock and put on a tri clover to gas post on the tee (got it from Bobby M) and attach my C02 tank. I can also add C02 anytime I want, like if I open the hatch to dry hop I then purge many times with C02 since I have a prv type device on the conical hatch. This has worked extremely well for me. Oh and as far as heat I don't need to use heat here in Florida, it's the cooling part that is hard to do in my garage, so the freezer does the job perfectly.

I’m stumped by that diagram. Back of the unit is sealed. No coils. I really want to drill the side but looking for better confirmation of safety.

Today I got my 9/16" and 13/16" Greenlee chassis punches, to go along with my 7/8", 1", 1-1/8", and 1-1/4" punches. Paid $36 total for all six.

They wont ship to me in VA either! LAME
At least my wife got her last box delivered on Tuesday, or else it looks like we would have just gotten a refund for everything in our crate. I'm hopeful that Tavour figures out a shipping solution to Maryland again, but realistically it appears that shipping beer is becoming more and more restricted.

Never been so nervous about a shipment. Those OEC bottles run 25 or 35 each. I just kept imagining a damned ‘damaged in shipping’ message coming our way.
And that NEBCO sour was a first ever release. Not sure if they will continue their trek into sours.
