Thanks. That's too bad on your saison. Must have been a tough competition to score like that, go mini bos and still not place.
I entered a ESB and it scored a 34 but no luck on placing with it.

Hop buying is never a problem. It is a solution. To the problem that is not having enough hops.

Word of advice from someone who learned the hard way. These things do an amazing job getting almost every last drop of beer off the yeast cake. As a result. Do not try to dry hop in the primary without a hop sock or something. You will end up with hop matter everywhere when you try to use the bottom drain.

I quite possibly am nearing 30lbs of hops in my freezer.

I think the problem is I have a kid coming late this month so Im stockpiling like a squirrel before winter hits.
