We had just burned up our 5th foodsaver type vacuum sealer, and realized by the time we bought a 6th one we could have invested in a chamber type sealer. My first thought was to look for a used commercial unit out of a restaurant but for the money this thing is a beast. I just "marinated" some fresh blackberries in a blackberry brandy along with some oak chips, ~6 months aging in 90 seconds. It's in the sonicator now smoothing out
Buying rolls on amazon is how I came to know Avid Armor brand products. They sell non-embossed bags for chamber sealers that are much thicker than the food saver rolls. So far the only thing I had trouble sealing was a pound of star anise. Those things are pointy. Blew two bags then realized multiple layers might help. They are now sealed in a double bag, fingers crossed.
My Mark II keg washer, Xmas gift from the wife, was supposed to be here yesterday, then a late notice but look for it Xmas day and nothing....HUFF HUFF. So now it's not coming till sometime next week. I'm gonna demand 20% off...mess with my brewing Christmas gift. But a small measure of comfort to sooth the missing in action keg washer, wife got me this as one of my gifts

Yeah I saw it in the store and told my wife I wanted it. I spent a year in England 11 years ago and drank tons of these beers and Fullers ESB
You for sure missed out on alot of great British beers. Fullers was my go to beer there, Sam Smith, Speckled Hen , Theakstons old ale and quite a few local beers in and around Gloucester/GloucestershireI've actually only had the Fullers.
I lived in England for 4 years in my early 20s and mostly only drunk Stella.

I loved mine until I ended up with an SS brand cheap. One thing I did to the Marks II is add a stainless CIP ball instead of the plastic post it comes with. Upped its cleaning game.

I bought the one with slits, but I’m sure it’s a 6to1, 1/2dozen to the other kind of situation.
I’m not sure which one would be better but the one with the slits does a great job and it rotates while the pump is running
