The sweet music being made by my wife's great grandmothers mantle clock... Tic Tock, Tic Tock

Nice, thanks! Shows you how out of touch the 'ol man is, I thought Sonos was the piano player playing someone named Melody's music!

haha, melody's been on my playlist forever (love love). Wonderful vocals. This video, strings steal the show, but she's all about the jazzy blue note vocals. Check Melody Gardot out, you might like. If you listen to modern pop vocalists, they are LOUD. But the truly talented ones, like this one, can be subdued and at the same time eloquent and velvet.

I have these Sonos speakers all over my home... I have a LOT of them. I am self employed and work from home, so I like to light the place up all day with sound. It's all instrumental while I'm working, but evenings are for Melody.

Thanks for this. It's funny, thinking back to the 60's and 70's I'd heard of this band, and remember seeing their albums in the record stores, but never actually heard anything by them. If this is representative of their music I could kick myself for not exploring them all these years. I really liked this song.

Yeah, these guys were criminally unknown as a band. Certainty not for a lack of trying; they are still going to this day, albeit with a much different lineup. They have been pretty much a bluesy with a southern rock style band. Chicago blues mostly.

With so much band change they have put out a very diverse output. The album the song "All I Can Do" came from is a fantastic album, from start to finish. One of my desert island albums which I play constantly. Off of that album, you might also enjoy Wang Dang Doodle and All I can Do is Try.

I'd also look into their subsequent album, Raw Sierra, as well. Especially the songs, Is That So and When I was a Young Boy.

Prior to the above 2 albums, these guys were mostly in the Peter Green's Mac and Mayall's Bluebreakers style.
