Speaking of which, does anyone have any brewery recommendations around that area?

Starting to think the blond ale in the lab beaker wasn't your first today!

Honestly, it was my first.

Had a long, long week and I'm feeling a bit giddy about what my hygienically-challenged, gas-station-burrito-eating, glue-sniffing, mob of guitar-building degenerates managed to accomplish this week.

I'm so lucky to be able to work with them. They might not smell very good, but they're nothing short of amazing.

Perfect beer to toast to our cat Jada who crossed the rainbow bridge today. Jada was the first pet my wife and I got together. She’s been with us since our first place together, before we got married and had children. It’s been a rough day but Jada lived a long life, she was 18 years old. Cheers kitty!

Always terrible losing a fuzzy friend. I’m glad she had a long and good life. Cheers, Jada. Beautiful cat.

I don’t have any brewery recommendations but I believe there might be only 1 or 2 in the area. Gatlinburg Brewing company looked good, but we never got to visit. Also, the Savannah Bee Company has mead tastings at all their locations in the area.

I can, however, tell you that when we were there a couple months ago, we had dinner at Junction 35 spirits and the food was quite good with pretty good drinks.

What campground are you staying at? We stayed at the Jellystone out by Dollywood.

I was on my own today; my son and DIL left for Idaho and my grandson went to move his stuff into the dorm for his final year of college. Mostly worked on small repairs to one of the combines and unloading the two semi loads of wheat we cut last night. Grandson will be here tomorrow so we will finish the last 80 acres.

Chilling under the stars with a bad habit. Love spicy liquors. I've made a few renditions of Fireball and the best one yet was spiced with Habanero peppers. I left the Habanero in for only 24 hours and would light you up.
