Homebrew Canadian Ale.

Husband brought this one home the other day. We've always like Elysian's offerings, and this one does not disappoint. A bit tart but very citrusy and flavorful.

Add some cocoa nibs and lactose to the keg and try make it a chocolate milk stout before u go dumping itHB Irish stout
I thought the first couple pints were ok, but the more I have, the less I like it. I used 20 oz (3%) of soured beer at kegging, but it tastes a little overwhelming. Added the roasted barley at the end of the mash for 20 minutes and I’m not getting enough roast taste either. Back to the drawing board again. This may end up being a dumper. I wish it tasted as good as it looks.

Last one from "that guy in Washington" ...a FotD or side trade (?) from a few years back.
Time to go cruise around and look at all the Christmas lights (no, I'm not driving).

That beer was a saison with soley Sorachi Ace. Fermented with some local brewery’s saison yeast. Picked up a random wild infection and just let it rideHB Saison (Vietnamese influence I believe) from @j1laskey
