How was this? I love BA beers but haven’t found an BA ipa that I care for
I’d call it good. Mykiss is a real good beer to begin with and you could definitely taste the tequila. It dried it out and changed the hops too, less aroma let the oils come forward more

Is that like when I was in Kentucky one time and asked what the Kentucky-style sweet tea was that was listed on the menu?

"It's sweet tea. And we make it here. Want some?"

Yeah pretty much the same. For some reason I was expecting something different. It's still good.

One of these next. Nice brown.

Yes.. I am aware it’s only August 11th and will be 98 tomorrow this a heat index of 107*f but I could help my self...especially when it’s displayed near the counter lolView attachment 738704

We've had the coolest summer ever. Don't think hit 98 and next ten days show mid-low 90s. Nice to not have to take a 401k loan for utilities!

Not awful..

Last beer from @Dgallo porch bomb Ive been taking my sweet a*s time finishing lol. Im assuming necessary means is one of Fiden's flagship beers. Only 6.2% ABV, but the mouthfeel on this one is the best of the bunch Ive now tried: Dunndidit, Socratic questioning 16, and Eugene's Broccoli. I actually think I like Necessary means the best lol. The mouthfeel is like drinking orange juice-type thickness. But its not too heavy, definitely substantive though. Soooo easy to drink. Flavor is great and saturated (Citra and Mosaic). My only wish is the aroma would be a little better. The aroma is perhaps is more mosaic dankyish and the flavor is citrus/tropics. But SQ16 was experimental, Eugene's Broccoli was collab, so dunndidit and this one gives me a better idea on what Fiden's is all about. Lived up to the hype IMO. Really like this brewery and it seems they can battle with the best breweries overall - at least in terms of IPAs from what Ive had.

Cheers!

pillowy beer.jpg

This is what I wanted to have happen with the last HB. This one is pillowy and the lacing is satisfactory and there's no staleness like the last one.
What I had planned to say was, this is my reward for walking fast for three miles in 90°F heat (felt like 97°F heat) and dropped a payment to the tax collector in the mailbox. Too hot to jog. Looking forward to football and sub-80° weather.
