Lots of Lagunitas is in View attachment 694194my future. I’ve committed to this bottle style for the 2020 12 BOC. Excited about this trade!
The Sierra bottles have a longer crown that is actually easier to cap and holds a better seal and less likely to break when capping. Figured that one out after long enough using stubbies

Ugh. I was going to use Sierra bottles but there’s more variety in bottles (at least in my area) for Lagunitas. I did notice they seem thinner than other bottles

You’ve got a few months! Should see some Oktoberfest, stout and porter soon too. Mixers are good too, that’s usually how I replace bottles I ship and retire

speaking ok...first of a hoppy mixer

The butterfly cappers have trouble with the short shoulder on the bottles from Lagunitas and Anchor. If you have a floor capper you should be ok.

Just cracked first taste test of my chocolate raspberry sour milk stout that I brewed last month. First go at a sour and hot damn this thing turned out well. Had my wife try it too and she was really impressed which made me super happy as she is a bit of a sour beer snob, so if I impressed her I definitely did it right!

I’m a huge fan of dark sours. Is it just a lacto/ped sour or did you add some funk to it?

My wife’s old roomie just moved back to the north shore of Boston from Brooklyn with her wife. They made me drink a bunch of their stash of Other Half today. I was also sent home with a “road soda”, my wife did not allow........but it still taste great at home View attachment 694215other half Mylar Bags
As a kid I thought I’d be able to make the rules as a man.... marriage taught me I no longer can(or am allowed to) think for myself lol

Last batch of my the 3 way split homebrewed farmhouse/Saison finally carbed up.

This is a mix fermented farmhouse ale brewed with red raspberries, orange zest, Vanilla beans and dryhopped with Citra. It was fermented with Belgian yeast, Lactobacillus, and Brettanomyces. Named it after my wife
