I took a beer trip to Richmond for my 40th bday and Triple Crossing was the one that impressed me the most, which is saying a lot because there are lots of great breweries there

I grabbed a 12 pack of that to keep at my dad's house as I'm coming and going. Never had it before yesterday. I liked it, but probably should have looked at the abv before purchasing...

I had grabbed it over some 2hearted only because it had an April 1st date stamped on the front. I figured that was the packaged date. Turns out that it is the best by date. Whoops. Damn small town liq stores...

While the Portland beers have been great, this is on a level of it's own. I thought maybe I was remembering this with RCG's, but no, it really is that good. Glad it made it to Oregon.

A very lightly dry hopped kolsch from Burial. Wonderful as with everything from them.

Stopped at the BevMo to get another sixer of the 0.0 and wound up discovering quite a selection of N/A options (from my phone, you can't browse the shelves which is fine). Anyways, got a sixer this one. It reminds me of a good pale ale and tastes as though it should be in the 3.5-4% realm. It is borderline too hoppy for me, but it is something to strive for.

On a bad note, I don't have giardia. We've ruled out almost everything, so I'll need to do a series of elimination diets. I'm not sure where to begin, but that's tomorrow's problem.
