Been sucking down Anchor Steam Christmas since 1989. Got a Magnum awaiting. Sure it's not the world's best beer but for us Gen-x Craft beer 1st generation, it's sentimental.

I agree. Had it first around ‘94 and every year since. Just not a fan for this year’s version.

But just got back from taking the lab/grad students for dinner and beers and maybe the stouts ruined my palate for the Anchor.

Wife rolled her eyes when I excited told her about it. Apparently that means I have “too much beer”. I’d never heard those words spoken together before.

Looking back, I do remember moving the case about 3 months ago. They drank so quickly that I assumed I’d finished that one off too. Early Christmas?
