Try secondary 6oz coconibs for 10days with a 5gal batch. Probably have to experiment a bit. I use stainless steel strainers to filter while racking to the keg.
What’s the secret to good chocolate flavor that doesn’t taste artificial? I know that I will never use that hazelnut flavor again also.
Fresh green juice to make up for the last couple days..errr weeks...err decades. [emoji1]

Well... I soaked 8 oz of these in vodka for 5 days https://www.amazon.com/Viva-Naturals-Organic-Cacao-Nibs/dp/B00MGW81YM then racked on top of in secondary for 7 days and all I can taste is the vodka. I’ve heard a light toasting enhances the flavor.

I did a Schwarzbier with 25% of the grain bill being coco puffs. Chocolate really came through. Use lots of rice hulls.

Row 34 the Portsmouth NH addition. Garrison City Blueprint. Have a bet on a with bartender he doesn't know the dry hop version on it. There's 6 variations of Blueprint. Before I sip I say I'll bet you this drink for free I can guess it. He goes to the cellar and the keg....

Citra!!!

Amateur hour here!

I've had success just straight secondary with them loose. Seems to extract more flavor that way.

At Whole Foods getting Star Anise and some All spice for the trial run of a Spiced Dunkel Weizen for next year's 12 Beer of Christmas.

Houston's Spindle Tap's Cosmic Cloud Hazy DIPA. Bitter citrus bomb

1000th check in. Nothing special. Eagle Brewing Gangsta NEIPA. Interesting spit and brews. Bar in a back door of a brew supply store in the old section of Portsmouth. Check their website for different brews. This place did a gruit using a moose head. Called it MooseheadView attachment 657843View attachment 657844

I stopped on there for the last MTL release. Their Saison is great. I still have cans of Gangsta in the fridge....meh. But the Saison!!!!! And the tap room is pretty cool !!!
