Having a Sam '76 while I wait for food to finish in the smoker then I'm going to break out a bottle from the cellar.

Breaking from tradition this year and smoking a brisket with some smoked jalapeno poppers wrapped in bacon. My backyard smells amazing!

Made it to Isla Brewing Company today (Isla Mujeres, MX).

Mucho Macho Double India Pale Ale (9.3%).

And, Playa Norte APA.

Both a little sweet for my taste in the DIPA and APA categories, but solid beers. Been here 3 of the last 4 Thanksgivings and try and go to the brewery each visit (was just opening my first trip).
