Yes, every year I make a blackberry wheat. The bushes are still flowering! So I’m thinking my blackberry wheat and a blackberry kettle sour this year. I’m currently looking at options to keep the wort at 90 degrees for a kettle sour, a brew belt, carboy wrap or a radiant heat pad.

Try co pitching...I just did a batch and it came out perfectly fine. It eliminates the need to maintain kettle souring temps.

My pluot sour. I tried the co pitching method, and it worked out fine. I pitched eight capsules; I never took a gravity reading, but fortunately I only did one sample bottle from the Anvil. So I'll do that before bottling the rest. It should end pretty low on the ABV scale.

Oh, and it's a ******* sexy beer to look at, isn't it?

I have to thank @wstbrewing for the glass. This thing gets the most use of any of my glassware, love it : )

Fingers crossed this is my last here and they don’t delay the flight anymore.

Delayed flights have taken a more serious undertaking since traveling with a baby - 1 and 1/2 year old....every extra minute feels like eternity. The days of having another beer while waiting for a flight are long gone. Either way man, I hope that’s your last beer.......at the airport at least [emoji12]

Rough start, at least the beer is tasty.

No instrument as of yet, 6 minutes of 10 year old tackle football at half time. He could be in one of those pictures. As far as underground, I've been a little disappointed by most of Founders new stuff. Then find out today they sold another 60% to the company that already owned 30%.
As far as the beer wending its way North, I'm glad for you; new products are always welcomed. I have to say though, that with this beer, there was no "wow" factor for me. It seemed a clumsy attempt at barrel-aging a coffee stout with no segue into the complicated flavors that were promised on the label. To me, it was a two-dimensional coffee/bitterness fiesta. I searched for those complicated flavors but didn't taste them. Like I said in my original post, maybe a year on the shelf will do it justice. But, hey, what do I know, right?

Can I assume your nephew plays a musical instrument? If not, that's okay because I have an interesting story (anecdote). My wife and I were fortunate enough to take in a 15 year old girl whom everyone else abandoned. This kid went on and played the flute and achieved first chair by the time she was 17. First time that I went to a football game to watch half-time. Different world.

How was that? My buddy was going to grab it but the mint and coconut thrown in there made him a bit nervous. We haven't had a bad beer from them but he passed (as far as I know)

I really enjoyed it. The mint is very faint to me. The coconut and watermelon is mellow. The berries shine in this one. I ended up buying two four packs b/c I think my wife will really like it. Plus I wanted extras b/c I wanted some to share with others and still have some to enjoy.
