1920 here. Completely gutted her back in 2008. Windows, siding, doors, electric plumbing you name it. Old bones though. As the saying goes, new dress on an old whore.

1908 here. Just ‘finished’ it, but I bet we have 10 more years of smaller crap.

Plumbing is all we did, and that was only after I knocked into one of the galvanized pipes while crawling the house. I fixed it first then debated, but it had to get done...the corrosion was gnarly! Pex'd the house then, small house though so cheap and fast. Everything else internally is as it was in the 20s (except inefficient wall heater installed some decades ago and of course the roof). Electrical quotes are $15-20k, windows are ... I dunno ... we have 36 of them so I haven't bothered getting a quote, and everything else is peanuts compared to electrical and windows.
 
Getting my friend back into brewing after a 20+ year hiatus. We had his first brew, a pale ale...kinda like most of our firsts - it's only going to get better. We reassured him of that.
