Loomis Basin, All Good IPA

It would be logical and prudent to share this Backwoods Bastard four-pack with friends and/or family--I didn't. Yikes!
A very nice whiskey barrel-aged stout. In my opinion, it's slightly dry but I tend toward sweetness in my taste. Founder's is the brewer. I'm partial to to the Dragon's Milk stout but not by much. I'm guessing they're competitors. I picked this up while shopping because...it was there.
The heat dish in the background is for the cats who like to gather around it like a campfire. One of ours likes to relax upstairs in our bungalow and bake (90 degrees) during the summer.
To the left is not a mini pyramid but a metronome--great animal "enrichment" but technically used by my wife while she's playing the piano.

It's funny but Trader Joe's seems ahead of the game with their beer inventory. They do an excellent job, in my opinion. How is that beer in your photo?
Pretty good for the cost. Both were far too carbonated for my taste but I guess that's what they were going for claiming them to be "highly effervescent". I'll pick up a few more next time I'm in the store

How about that. Thanks for the viewpoint. I haven't had a beer's carb-level get in the way yet but I'm on the lookout for it. TJ doesn't gouge which I appreciate. The Triples I get from there are the La Fin Du Monde and the Final Absolution (not their brands).
I did get a quad that is made by Unibroue for Trader Joe's. It was good but dry and the beer professional recommended that I store them for a few years which isn't going to happen with me.

Eagle, Santa was very generous! [emoji16]

Long story here but party gale an amber with grains that were supposed to be a Winter Warmer.

Here's the Winter Warmer that was brewed with grains that was supposed to be an NEIPA. I added ginger/cinnamon/jujuberries/cranberries. Beside being a little flat, very drinkable. [emoji106]
