Mosaic Double IPA (from Gordon Strong’s Modern Homebrew Recipes p.81), that I brewed in mid-July. The Tupelo Honey in this recipe might be the secret weapon.

Yes, Roanoke, VA. I have never been to Hardywood but should have. Lots of good beer in the Richmond area! Honestly, the Roanoke beer scene is only gonna get better since Ballast point is already there and deschutes is coming in a couple years. Deschuutes did open a small taproom downtown but the brewery is a few years out. I think 2021. Plus Starr Hill has a small pilot brewery there too. Some people are calling Roanoke the "little Asheville." I don't know...maybe but it's worth the trip there. Definitely check out Big Lick in Roanoke.....great people and great beer and they are still huge supporters of the HB scene!
