My 13 month sour. I pulled a gallon out and put it in my whiskey barrel for a month then on blackberries and raspberries I grow for another month. It's pretty damn good if not way overcarb'd...had to add fresh yeast to the bottle and used a little too much.

Miss California sometimes. Where we lived in Santa Cruz area, blackberry bushes up/down the mountain roads. You are a very kind gentleman! Need to get my home brewing butt in gear for the next round!

It's my pleasure! Growing up in West Virginia and Upstate New York you could always find the best berries in the middle of nowhere. We had wild blackberries (East Coast variety), wild raspberries, and wild mulberries (I think that's what they are).

The funny thing about that blackberry bush in my front yard is that I didn't even plant that. I think a bird planted it for me in my yard. I just trained it around the fence. I bet they're probably a thousand berries on that bush right now.

I didn't want to ship any out at that point because I had not had the chance to crack one open. Yeah, I guess I could have waited a day, but I'm not proud of the overcarb'ing. Once I figure that out I will put one aside Plus I'm not sure anything else would've safely fit into that box.
