Speakeasy Big Daddy IPA.

Been waiting to try this one. As good, maybe slightly better than the Imperial. Dark chocolate and bourbon is a good mix.

I'm glad you got to it and liked it! Does Cali have sponge candy out there? When I had my bottle I dropped a piece in my pint

No Sponge Candy out here. I really like how Resurgence brings the Dark Chocolate in these. I will have to drop a little myself. Thanks again @RevKev for the brew.

If I ever ship to you again I'll include some of buffalos best sponge candy.. it's basically just spin sugar covered in any type of chocolate imaginable

If you consider SA non-bmc ;)

At less then 1% market share I think that qualifies as non-BMC..But then again those are old numbers so maybe SA is above 1% market share now?

Anyway, I am having THE perfect IPA(at least according to my half-smacked taste buds) and that is my HB Zombie Dust clone! :) Need to order some more grain and a bit more Citra and do that one again soon!

For starters I like the look of your brew..

but I think they are above 1℅ or greater of market, even 1% is quite large.. I like several of their beers don't get me wrong but they are just like BMCs trying to catch onto the trends of brews

I've moved to a different bar (still in Evansville) but enjoying a Two Hearted which I don't think anyone would claim is BMC. :)

Drinking SA rebel IPA at a casino bar in Evansville, IN. Only non-BMC on tap....

I know you're nowhere near Hammond but I love going to the casino there.. I think Horseshoe? They are stocked with Three Floyds. Really nothing better than playing the slots with a zombie dust in hand smoking a cigar.

Not drinking it RIGHT now, but last night I had a friend over for a homebrew tasting, and as a thanks he brought me a can of Heady Topper, my first. And I gotta say... I wasn't blown away. Based on other NEIPAs I've had, I expected more a lighter, more citrusy dry hop character, but instead it was pretty resinous, with a good dose of what seemed like early kettle bitterness. Combined with the expected characteristic thickness off the yeast, I found the result a little... well... muddy. Is it just me?
