This thread seems to have turned into a picture thread, but it didn't start out that way (I don't have any pix)

I'm drinking some apple wine that I bottled a few months ago. (it's too strong to call it cider) I *thought* it was finished fermenting when I bottled it, but obviously it wasn't because I pulled the cork and got a gusher. Too bad the bottle wasn't chilled. It tastes very much like extra dry (not brut) champagne; ever so slightly sweet and kinda spicy. I like it a lot, and this is the last bottle cuz it was only 1 gallons.

I'm just glad it didn't blow the cork or "bottle bomb" It isn't all that fizzy, but it still has a little sugar in it so the yeast wan't done yet.

It's last year's release. Found them at a local shop for $1 each. Has lost the orange and a bunch of the pepper now but when it was fresh, damn it was good!
