Edit: I thought it was a little heavy on clove this year when it is fresh. But big, sweet and boozy. Delicious.

Wow, didn't realize how much the label had changed. I think mirror pond and black butte ruined me on other pale ales and porters. I just like their versions of those styles better.

For the Avery junkies....how good is Rumpkin? We also go some Samael in town. I'm not a huge pumpkin beer fan so I think I'd rather go for the Samael.

I agree rumpkin had way more pronounced spices this year. It's a lot more sweetness and boozy rum barrel than pumpkin, so it's pretty good.
