@Abrayton @orionol73 I'm kind of disappointed in that beer. I feel regular Hi Res is more "sticky sweet", and DDH HR is just more "west coast hoppy". Your thoughts?
Happy Birthday Sir. Looks like a great start!
Happy birthday!

Not yet...Your pecan alt always and sounds good. I know u smoke your own malt. Have u ever tried walnut? Jackie O'S has a couple of stouts where it really smooths out the flavor. They don't smoke it tho.

You obviously don't live in the state of Washington? The state "sin" taxes (2 of them) plus the regular sales tax will push that price closer to $40 a bottle.Costco brand blended scotch. Its actually very drinkable and cheap at $18.50 for 1.75LView attachment 622668
Seriously a sin tax? Is that like some law from the late 1800s? I live in central Florida where the liquor stores are open every day till like 9 o'clock at night lolYou obviously don't live in the state of Washington? Both taxes are from the 1990's, 1 tax is for any liquor of 1L or larger and is over 20%.Seriously a sin tax? Is that like some law from the late 1800s? I live in central Florida where the liquor stores are open every day till like 9 o'clock at night lol
