There was a junkie in a doirway too he looked happy but i know in his heart he isnt. He needds to meet shadow jesus

Cold coffee drink. Work. Gotta make it through today, tomorrow and Sat. morning then there's a tiny glimmer of hope for that afternoon.

I have no idea when HBT started working again, but I've had lots to drink during the week. Went to see The Rolling Stones last night, the cab situation was a cluster F and it took 2 hours to get Uber (cabs were running much further behind). But I made it and made it up in time to work. Totally worth it! What a show...even for a gang of old dudes.

So coffee. Pounding coffee.

That is awesome. A good friend of mine is going out to colorado later this month to see them on his birthday. Pretty jealous.

Coconut water with pineapple after having a few last night. The jury is still out on weather this stuff really works. I like to think it does some good. Will be on water next.

Meh, early Thursday/Friday morning, coffee in hand, lots of work to do...but zero ****s given. I seem to of misplaced all of my ****s to give.

Cold dregs of coffee from my school bag,as I walk down the lane after physio.
The beer is calling me VERY loudly

I was feeling the same. A glass of water, a bagel with cream cheese and a large cup of coffee has me feeling normalish now. Have you tried pickle juice? Supposed to be better than gatorade.

I am the anti-hippy. I am also hung over must locate some coffee.

You did seem to be celebrating Sloppy Saturday a couple days early.

Even hammered I appreciated the dichotomy of shadow jesus and all the depravity on Bourbon street.
One guy tried to get me to come in to watch the strippers at his establishment by saying " we have the best ******* and liquor in New Orleans"
I like ******* and I like liquor sounds like the place to be.

Drinking water.

Wife is freaking out about our upcoming vacation to OBX. We stay in Avon and go to Ocracoke often. Shark attacks in Avon last week, and another on Ocracoke yesterday. She's threatening to not let the kids go in the water.

Wear one bad hat, Harry. That will stave off any shark attacks. Shart attacks I can't help you with.

I personally prefer ones I can touch to the ones that you can only look at. And advertising having the best (rail) liquor probably isnt saying much.

Just inform her that more people are killed by cows per year than by sharks. The odds of even seeing a shark are still extremely low even with all the media hype.

Shart attacks will probably help keep the sharks away. No worries there. Plus look at all that water, no one will notice.

I don't think I'll be trying that, definitely not a fan of pickle juice. I wonder what the science is behind it? Seems pretty salty to me.

I think its the Electrolytes. Which are salts.

If you had do one of the below, which one would you pick and why?
Fight a bear
fight a shark

Bear. I saw a news article where an old guy cold cocked a bear to protect a freaking bug-eyed mexican rodent dog (i cant spell the name and dont respect them enough to look it up) and it ran off. I am sure I can maneuver faster on land than in water too. I havent seen many stories of people doing the same in the ocean.
