Happy birthday Mark!

Someone celebrated for you in my work truck today. When I got I this morning a fire extinguisher in transit had exploded/discharged in the back of the truck.

I refused to work in all the dry chemical powder all day. I said I didn't want to breathe it.

They looked at me like I was the crazy one.

Don't hate the player, hate the game. To my defense, it was before the presentation started, this is the south and respect means something. :)

Happy B-day Mark! I will break my routine and have a few for the occasion.

Was only having a bit of fun, please don't take much of whatever I have to say seriously!

:)

Bottled some Donny on lunch, drank one without taking a pic. Didn't happen.

Back on the water.

I am drinking ice-cold water in an attempt to keep cool, and reading about a guy who is in a work-related presentation but posting here on HBT.

:)
Hmmm. If you really want to make a statement then you could call out the person. It's less passive. ;)

Oh and I'm at work. Even though a meeting was cancelled, I'm at work. On the clock. Getting paid. Yup. At work.
Coffee. The owner of a new LHBS who happens to be a member here has invited me to preview his store, due to my experience as a brewer. Y'all have seen me in action...do I act smarter than I am? I mean, I'm a well known fountain of knowledge IRL, but I have deferred to the knowledge of this forum in every single aspect of my brewing thus far.

Seen you in action? I've seen you in this drinking thread where we're all definitely awesome!

Coke. I skipped the protein shake for lunch and went for the El Diablo burger from Hardees. Pretty sure that was three days of calories in a burger but I'm pretty thrilled right now.

I absolutely drink on the pro level. Brew level is not there yet.

Neither making a statement, calling someone out, nor being passive-aggressive was ever my intention.

Where about are you staying? Just off Rittenhouse Square, Old City or in one of the neighborhoods?
If you need any recommendations or just somebody to hang out with for lunch, I work all day in the city.

We can definitely work something out. I plan atleast a day to see what is in the city. I'm staying in Fort Washington. I like to stay in the outskirts of town and not in the city (unknown) but i'll be driving everywhere. Hopefully to make it to hersey and pizza boy and associates as well as everything in the area. My hotel is roughly 3mi form Forest and Main. I look forward to heading up there and hopefully hang out with yall Penns when I am up there. :D

Two, worst, ghetto cities I've been to: 1) Philly 2) Detroit.

"Vacationing" in Philly...let's just say I'd book a vacation to Hell before Philly. Still hope I can hang with @DC! :D

If you are in the area. Definitely. Right now I'm only planning one day downtown most will be on the outskirts and farther within Penn. Heading to Hersey and harrisburg (probably gettysburg also)

The neighborhoods around Philly are pretty ghetto, you will hear no argument from me. I don't think I would put it that high on the list...maybe top 5, but definitely under DC, Baltimore, Camden.

Word slym.

Water...may be beer time soon. My computer has been restarting and hanging on "applying personal settings" for about 20 minutes. It may be hosed.

bwahahahaha same time on the response, awesome

All of the interior shots are done in LA, the few exterior shots requiring landmarks such as Love Park are actually done on site. They are in the city for maybe a week shooting.
Actually Rob/Mac is a majority owner of Mac's Tavern, and their mac & cheese is pretty damned good.
