Ran to a consumers to pick up kbs and struck out. Ran to my usual one and scored 2 despite a one bottle limit since I'm a super regular then ran to another one and scored 2 more. Yippee!

Well what I am asking is how much of a risk is there that the bottles will explode in my hand as I walk to the sink? Are they that bad?

Also, to me if these things are randomly breaking, I would not use the bottles. That is what I did with my cider, I didn't use any of those bottles for fear the glass was weakened by the pressure.

I think that if they have been in your garage, they have been consistently colder than I keep mine...inside at 69-75F. Probably part of the problem is that is was at the higher end of that range yesterday. I had about 4 total that popped...none while being transported. I would walk it out of the garage and take the cap off and pour it out. But if you're concerned, I can come over with a cut-proof glove and do it. I worry about re-using the bottles, too...2 cases worth, though...ugh!

That's what happened here for bcbs, but it was due to the 6' of snow. I think I need to stop at wegmans too on the way home, so maybe I'll have extras

Got an email yesterday afternoon that KBS was available, 2 bottle limit. Went by today around 1:30 and they were long gone. Newer location for this beer store only got one case and their older, longer established store with higher sales was allotted 8 cases. All gone in a flash. *sigh* Back to coffee.
