I see what you did there. :D:rockin::rockin::rockin: Have fun doing vlookups.

I need beer. Time to go get some.

A beer right now sounds amazing...

i do vlookups all day long- love em- seems like u know excel pretty well.... i have a project coming up that i have to compile about 600 different spreadsheets into 1 for the purpose of vlookups- aside from copying and pasting for hours is there a way to easily compile these into 1?

Friday is my conference call day- starting at 10am every hour on the hour until 5 pm... why they are schedualed on fridays i have no idea but its prolly why i wind up drinking so much on friday nights.

No. 3 is a decent IPA but No. 6 is a really good DIPA. Remind me next time we trade and I'll send you one of those.

Nice. I will let you know. It was just sent along with an ESB. Both aren't bad beers and I think they were the better beers of the free beer I received.

I f'ing hate Friday conference calls to no end. As for your spreadsheets, I know there is some VB code that you can use but the code I was given long long ago didn't fully work. debugger threw an error so I ended up copying and pasting.

Though for some reason I thought vlookup could reference different files as long as they were open. vlookup was the bane of my existence in grad school then I ended up understanding it, creating a tutorial and using it everywhere. In fact, it is probably all I'm good for these days at work. :rockin:

Yeah, I use vlookup to search multiple files as well. after you enter the lookup value you choose the table array. I just select a range in another sheet by clicking and dragging. Cliff, are you using Excel 2010?

About ready to throw my computer out the window after a bunch of repairs I made to an Access Database didn't save and now I have to fix it again... On the 2nd cup o' coffee and can't wait to get home and get my Irish on

Pulled a sample from my dark strong sour that's been on blueberries, US med toast oak, and a few oz of BillyKlub's port for about 3 months now. Gravity hasn't budged, it's actually gone up a few ticks from loss of CO2 I guess. Still getting over a never ending monster cold so I don't feel like I'm picking up on everything as well as I usually do, but nose is sweet berry, roast, chocolate, red wine and taste is all of the above, well integrated and balanced by tannins. Tempted to bottle, but as cold as cellar is I should probably wait to see if anything happends when it warms up again and possible rack over to another 10 lbs of berries. Planning on doing a cellar blend for a homebrew even in the end of May, so I've been using that as an excuse to do some sampling. Not sure if I want to blend and bottle soon and hope it comes out well or blend and keg right before event so I have a better idea of what I'll be getting.

Starbucks with a shot of Bailey's...... while at work. Oops :p
