Getting chilly. Time for bonfire and whiskey

Spent part of the day on a small landscaping project.

Time to relax with some Mind Haze Brain Melter.

That only comes in a variety pack here. I can get packs of the other two but for some reason, they don't distribute this one, the best one IMHO. Mind Haze conspiracy man!

Your post reminds me such good times. My grandpa Bum, Dad's dad, got a bumper pool table when I was about 10 in 1977. I remember the trip bringing it back to his house. Every summer, I'd stay with both sets of grandparents in Lincoln. Grandpa would later tell stories how I ran the table on his drinking buddies he'd bring over. They'd get so pissed being toasted by this little kid! I guess there wasn't much to do except practice while everyone worked during the day. Sadly, he was the first to pass on, on of all days, Memorial weekend, 1990.

Cheers and play on!

Boy am I glad that Belgian box is in the rearview mirror. Moving forward, here’s a fantastic San Diego West Coast IPA – Big Weekend Double IPA from Coronado Brewing!

I just love true Westies – nice clarity – check it out! 8.8% ABV, delicious and predictable hop mix like a Stone IPA or Sierra Nevada Torpedo.

I think I know why Beer-Loving Daughter #1 just moved to San Diego – to soak up more West Coast IPA’s fresh off the taps…. Cheers!

Another of @camonick HB while the porter is chilling down. It's a nice easy drinking pale ale that went down way too quick. Was that cascade in there? Also the bottle mentions it's a bbg experiment, not sure what that meant? Also your clarity is fantastic, what's your trick? Apologies about the million questions.

Yes, that’s 100% cascade. I joined a homebrew club in Scottsbluff, NE a while back. They call themselves the Bluff’s Brewers Guild (BBG). 6 of us signed up for an experiment where we were all given the exact same ingredients, but we drew lots for 6 different recipes, the difference being when the hops were added throughout the process. My recipe (#2) was closer to a traditional pale ale. The image on the bottle is Scott’s Bluff National Monument along the Oregon Trail. Clarity is just a function of time and temperature. I’m glad you’re enjoying them!!!
OT:
Helping my nephew build a model rocket today.

While driving home from work a little while ago, I took a moment to appreciate all of those that gave it all for us. Having another moment now.
This one is for all of you.
My latest HB IPA. Only been in the keg for about 48 hours. I finally got the hop punch that I was looking for. A bit juicy and tropical. I didn’t make a hazy. It hasn’t had enough time to crash out and I didn’t fine it post brewing. She may not be pretty, but she’s delicious and she’s all mine. 🍻

Looks delicious to me!!

HB T58 Wheat Ale (rip-off of @Miraculix Hazy Cheapskate).
I bottle in PET soda bottles (mostly), so I sometimes have a last bottle that is only ¾ full. I squeeze it a bit to remove excess air, then cap it. This bottle will always have excess sediment (yeast) in it so it carbs up quickly! This one was only 48h in the bottle and is nicely carbed. Nice and spicy, mostly clove with a hint of pepper.
