The kids are finally done with the school year. 😮‍💨

Going to try and brew the NEIPA tomorrow so need to empty this keg.

Be careful what you wish for! I was in exactly your boat a couple of weeks ago. Try as I might, all my late winter/early spring beers stubbornly refused to blow. When I finally convinced one to do the polite thing, two more rapidly kicked in succession over the next few days.

Fortunately, I have fermenters full of vile fizzy yellow swill for July and August consumption ready to keg next week.

I'll get the grains/hops tomorrow but it'll be a weekend project Sunday. I guess having TOO much beer on hand is a nice problem though ,eh? 🤘

I don't call this a poor man's pineapple margarita just a lazy man's. The prospect of driving 90sec to the nearest liquor store sounded daunting!

Hey Folks, I had a bit of a health scare, and wanted to pass it on. I started Medically - monitored TRT or Testosterone Replacement Therapy. I did not react well. Nearly had a heart attack, and it's not easy to find some of my medical history. My blood / hemo got so thick, my heart couldn't pump properly, and it got scary.

Don't even start with the Trans jokes, I was born with low T and at 52, I have the levels of an 85yr-old man. Not healthy for a guy, especially getting close to Andropause. I don't care if you think it's a joke, I don't care if ya'll think I'm faking it. This is a real deal for me.

I feel like ****, and I'm slowing down a bit with the beeeeeers. Sigh. I am fully comfortable in my skin, so get those weird images out of your heads, gosh darnit! Doc and I are looking at some other options, because proper T levels after 40 are incredibly important, staving off Prostate problems, as well as depression, being lonely, isolation...etc. Low T can also affect bone density and obviously strength in later years. Not trying to do a Movember commercial, but....yeah.

Anyhow, will get back atter' after Doc and I get the levels sorted.

Sorry to hear man, I hope for the best for you and a quick solution from the doc. Also hope it doesn't keep you from fishing to much either.

Thanks a bunch, @bailey mountain brewer , it's not fun, but there are options available.

Ja, I'm walking down the street to hit the river instead of going for a full daytrip hiking around. Things will turn out, I can feel it!

Absolutely it’s no joke. Take good care of yourself, and I trust your doctor will bring you back to a reasonable balance.
