Says Mexican Cake. It ain't. It's a stout I brewed 7 months ago. I bottled the MC 1 month ago so I don't know how the hell I did this or how many more surprises I'll get. Oh, well...it's beer but not as good as the MC.
Sample of HM mead while trying out a sugar free toasted marshmallow syrup to backsweeten. Tastes more like toasted coconut to me but pretty good.
Hit Total Wine to pick up stuff for kid’s 21st tomorrow, and God apparently thinks I’ve been a good boy this Lent, because this isn’t available very often.
Enjoying some Czech beer tonight. Both good, but I prefer the amber one. All in all, this is really making me eagerly await my visit to Czechia later this year.

HB German Pils this evening
An OK beer with an awesome label. Teddy Roosevelt American Badass Imperial IPA with a burger and some tater salad.
Ground hog day
Friday continues. I haven’t had pfriem beers before, so picked up 4-6ers of different types. Not planning on drinking them all in one sitting.

Tried the Pilsner, and the Pale, and now this WCIPA. Just really clean beers. So nice.
Wheat ale with lime at Steele Hall in Trussville, AL. Tasty beer
I’ve never had a bad beer from them.
So far, neither have I.
Having a HB Kolsch.

Good stuff. I am lucky my Wines and more stocks it and Blind Pig. The actual brewery is about an hour away and they have a nice tap room with a good selection of bar food.

Hen house Brewing Company IPA. Not too bad and they are somewhat local. Might have to take a ride to the brewery when the weather clears up.
Haven’t had much Shilling. Nice Czech pale.

We lost our old man today. He lasted 2 days longer then expected. Wife called at work so I was able to say goodbye face to face. Just got him dropped off for cremation. This deserves a beer...or 3.

I miss you all! I haven’t brewed in 15 months since my daughter was born. Decided it was time to get back in the swing of things but I’m not even to the boil yet. Let’s see how long I can stay awake!

Cheers to you buddy. My condolences on your loss, they mean so much to us. I’ve only been able to get through it by caring for the next one. He was a beautiful fella!
