Found this mingled with a few bottles of Imperial Stout I keep in a separate lagering fridge. Bottled 14 months ago with the TapCooler, still delicious. Brut IPA with Passion fruit:
Kids are away, so some bacon wrapped filets. Although my youngest daughter is currently at one of the best restaurants in the south (The Southern in Nashville).
Mrs. Bongo’s one and only Homebrew attempt. A 1.5 gallon batch bottled 13 months ago, this is a super smooth 10.5% Coffee Stout. Any coffee flavor is long gone but this is still one fine stout, despite very little carbonation. I really should brew a 5 gallon batch and keg-age it for a few months or years. I’d love to have this carbonated and on tap around the holidays.
Mexican style beer, nitro stout, blood orange something, and a barrel aged sour from Firestone Brewery. It was our last stop before coming home after a very long road trip from Louisiana in my new-to-me Tesla.
First pull on my House Money Jalapeño lager. Got some junk from the bottom of the keg and only about 3/4 carved. But. Man. Thats about perfect. Slight spice. Good jalapeño flavor. Light and refreshing.
