Interesting as George "The Animal" Steele would chew on the wrestling ring turnbuckle. However, in real life William James Myers was a teacher.

Getting out some angst I'm sure! I'll have to googlemachine the man. I feel I would chew on a few turnbuckles myself if I had to be a teacher. Honorable job and tough conditions!

With woodruf syrup. I could pass on this.

Microbrasserie Charlevoix Vache Folle Imperial Milk Stout. 'Vache folle' is French for ESB...or 'mad cow' Jeebus....

Ok, so I've never had a Milk Stout, and I can't say I'll have one again. Taste is a bit fruity on the end... then the aftertaste...Sigh.

Tastes like I've eaten too much cheese, that 'cow-y, whey' type of flavour, ...must be the lactose sugar..? Hmm...it's a weird one.

Last one for tonight before going out to the tent in the backyard. Our girls wanted to sleep in the tent this week. At least I have an air mattress.
This is a rotating hops IPA from a local brewery. Thankfully I was able to get one of each can instead of four full 4-packs from our local Wegmans. Cheers and good night.

Does it taste like beer? Put on a welding hood and call it a Stout.
I’m not a purist, by any means. I make beer. I make it in a fairly wide variety of styles, but I don’t pore over the BJCP guidelines prior to putting a recipe together.

I actually like this beer well enough to make it again. Maybe I’ll call it a “Session Pastry APA”.
