I was in NoLA a couple times a few years ago. Courtyard definitely had some great beers. Nice variety of clean, sour, hoppy… not. Urban South was excellent also. Further north and east, Parleaux Beer Lab had some great beers, as did Brieux Carrie.

At Brieux Carre right now. Drinking I’ve Got Simcoes in Different Area Codes. WCIPA. Going to Urban South tomorrow.

Interesting... a Tröegs rice beer....those boys are getting creative... @bailey mountain brewer can you grace us with a review? How does it compare with Yards Philly Standard? That's a "helles" of a good beer. Speaking of which, I've got a 4 pack of Bavarian helles tall boys chilling for later which I will happily review for my droogs here on hbt.

2019 Walkabout, a chocolate orange stout from Third Window Brewing in Santa Barbara. This is superb when fresh on tap. The fresh orange just jumps out. Not nearly as good at the three year mark.

Kingston Negroni. I’m not a huge fan of regular Negronis, but trading gin for Jamaican rum turns this in to something I could almost chug.
