Fortified white port at 20%. Great night cap. Local winery that went out of business in 2021. We bought a case of 500ml bottles at their going out of business sale.

I have to say this is what I always thought mead should or would taste like.

I’ll second that. I tried to have a homebrew store. Lasted a little less than 4 years before I ran out of money and I wasn’t really paying myself much for just about the whole time. I can’t even imagine trying to run a brewery, especially these days with all the craziness. Lots of businesses went under in the last 2 years, many small and start up breweries included.
