This is my 10-fidy clone....aging is helping View attachment 604306
This is about 2 months old now. My experience is 4 months where things come alive. It's smoothing out but oak is still pronounced. How long did you age? Mine has been sitting in the keg for about two months and I’m itching to get it in my keezer on some co2
Been in several discussions about this. There's either oak or smoked grains in 10-fidy. IDC what others say. I sense it big time. Which recipe did you use? Thanks, I was thinking 4-6 months. Didn’t oak mine. It was a first attempt at a clone that I’m sure will be tweaked a bit next time.
I use about 50% more darks and 04. Also bitterness in upper 50s to lower 60s. I'm going to use maybe .5lbs smoked grains next time instead of oak. Enjoy and Cheers!View attachment 604314 I got recipe advice back from the head brewer when I emailed them. No oak or smoked grains but I’ve come across threads where that is debated
