My wife received a care package from a friend in Austin, TX. We live up here in BC, Canada and this is my 4th cup of this stuff. Much better than some cheaper local flavoured coffees.

Still like my Tim Hortons tho

Coffee #2 after a nice walk. Brisk morning but in the sun and pulling my ass uphill makes for perfect weather.

Not good.

Bunch of people took the day off today, leaving me with the worst of the worst people here asking a thousand questions and making my life a living hell. I've half a mind to just go lay down outside and die in the slushy, snow-rain **** that is dumping on us.

Good day otherwise though.

I learned that when ordering green beans for home roasting, it's important to specify green COFFEE beans. Roasted string beans don't make a good cup of joe.

Yesss... peer pressure much? I like saving good beers for good times; I don't have much of the latter lately. Had the nut brown. Not sure which one to have next. I'll knock a couple out this weekend with some nice food.

It's great having them all over my fridge though. You should see visitors faces when they open my fridge.

I may brew that weekend, have to convince the wife though. Next brew is going to be a nice malty Red Rye IPA with malted and chocolate rye. :rockin: I had planned on brewing it this weekend, but I am changing my process quite a bit, and I don't want a stuck sparge on an expensive beer. So, this weekend it's a variation of FYB.

I will be in Napa Valley within days. I will help out with this project.

I am also not much of a wine drinker...and it would be poor form for me to get **** faced on this trip, as it is a work related trip.

Nothing crazy, ZD clone again for a friend that wants to bring growlers to Ohio. Dude couldn't believe how good it was. He's buying all the ingredients and only taking half of it. Just trying to decide if I want to do a 10 gal batch.

Really? I get all emo drunk when I drink wine. Pretty sure I got wasted on Pinot Grigio out of a tupperware container in the back seat of my buddy's car on the way to Mankato when John Mayer came on the radio and I called my then GF to tell her how awesome she was. In a car full of dudes. Brutal.

Our brew club is brewing up three batches of the same beer (one extract, one BIAB and one all grain) at our LHBS. Then that beer will go on a tap line at the LHBS when it is ready. I should be there for a chunk of the day, but won't be one of the brewers.

Water with lunch. Now to punish the dog with a two mile walk

I kid I kid. I'm okay with my beers sucking, more for me.

Work is killing me. Someone cases a 4 month delay and suddenly I have 30 seconds to do something because someone else is a **** up.

I have thought about inviting some people over to brew that day but I kind of enjoy brewing alone. Ive have friends come help before and it just seems like a hassle. I either have to ask them to help work (then supervise to make sure they dont f*** up, which in the end saves me no time) or Im just running around while they sit around. Haha, definitely this. One guy I had over was giving me suggestions on my all grain process when he doesn't brew! He hasn't been back for brew day haha. I have another buddy who's been here a few times and knows the general process, so I don't mind if he's here. It is a lot if people are asking lots of questions... I tend to run around quite a bit so it definitely slows it down. (I'm modifying my process so I'm just using my pump for everything).
