Went outside today to start the truck, did the sickest break dance a tall guy can do trying to avoid crashing to the ice again. It looked all fluffy, forgot there is 6" compacted underneath.

@supervisingchildren I broke my shovel :(
A service will be held at 5:00pm to celebrate the memory of Excaliburrrr, Destroyer of Snowbanks.

Xoffee!!!

Full Throttle Blue Agave after downing my hydro sample this morning.

Gotta love brewing.

Coffe with butta and honey. Damn it's good.

A few inches of snow here that need shoveling. Then back to work on my day off to do the evaluation for the ringleader of the circus that's in town when I'm not at work. This one won't cry, she'll go straight raging bitch with an attitude.

@supervisingchildren I will say that the #1 best thing about buying a house or even moving to a place where I had my own laundry was that I didn't have to deal with people. I've had under garments stolen, I've had clothes tossed all over the floor because I waited another 5 minutes before returning to remove my stuff from the washer or dryer (they did not discriminate), and the kicker was the dry clothes tossed in the trash and laundry soap dumped all over them. That did it for me...even over someone stealing bras and underwear.

/end chatty cathy @coldcrash ;)

He's taken a couple of my things in the past too, including a dress shirt and my expensive sunglasses. At least it wasn't my underwear as I wouldn't want them back.

Haha I broke one of my shovels earlier in the week, but it was only one side of it, so I'm still using it haha.

Coffee, and as much of it as I can drink. Tired and feeling the effects of last night's indulgence.

Coffee, only one here at work , they delayed opening for an hour but I was already here as I had to crawl under the truck and replace a leaking fuel filter, the good was I pulled it in the shop, the bad was all the snow and slush dripping on me as it melted.
Changed the oil while I was at it. :rockin:

Its so nice to have a shop available to change your oil in or other small repairs. Im not sure when the last time I paid for an oil change was haha.

Man, with the price of oil and a filter, it just doesn't pay not to have someone else do it for $30 (for me anyway).

Yeah. The place I go has it done by the time I pay and grab a coffee.

Having way too much coffee right now while deciding what brewing related topic to research today. Got the shakess!

Filled some bottles for neighbors because we're all stuck at home. Well, I always am...but these guys all have their kids too. Haha

Schools called it at the last minute, I was literally on my way out the door when they decided to change their minds. Spending the day with my princess, sharing a tall glass of tea

I didn't drink last night and am paying for it now; didn't even make it to 2pm before getting the eye twitches.

One more coffee maybe I guess sort of. Company rewarding us with KFC for a month of ridiculous sales. No thanks. You can keep that.

Water.

I'm with you. I haven't changed my own in years. Except for my RV, which only gets changed once a year. Too big of a hassle to find a place that will do it.

Drinking water with lunch.

Water and homemade chili... office smells disgusting from people eating kfc.

edit: Evening plans of grabbing the new Dumb & Dumber movie and racing over to my friends house to get funked up and laugh our faces off have been canceled... Might have to make it a brewing night to relieve the sadness.

Wait, wait, wait…
Did I just beat @Remmy today?

I beat @Remmy ! Look at that!

Dang...I had to have one before 8 a.m. to beat him!

Regarding the carbonation issues: "The only solution is I move next door and we build a mega kegorator!" That would be awesome...there's a really old lady on one side of me. I'll let you know when there's an opening! Maybe I need to brew my gose and then bring it to you to keg. Then you can just bring me a growler or bottle a few bombers for me and enjoy it yourself! (Unless it turns out nasty.)

Still on coffee.

I did a short stint in a lube place while in school and saw the caliber of people doing the work there. I'll do mine and be sure it's done correctly. ;)

yeah, that's another reason I do it myself. No stripped bolts and no worrying about running the car after someone forgot to re-fill the oil :)

Yup. My buddy used to work at valvoline and told me some horror stories.

Cherry coke and about to make lunch. Only 7 more hours of work.

Ahhh... 1 day was too long. Had to do it... just threw the dry hops in my wheat. .5 oz Simcoe, 1 oz Citra and 1 oz Mosaic. Already smells oosome!

We could probably do that, but i would be unfair to drink your beer.

Water with meat cheese and crackers.

Wife decided to take the day off and said she is going to clean the kitchen since my plans got canceled. Now I can race home and start making beer after work! Haven't done a PM batch in a while, excited and nervous especially after my last beer attempt. Head is swimming with stuff I've read on processes.

On water, amped up.

My neighbor is literally shoveling the snow/ice off the street. He is clearly bored.

Drinking coke zero.

Just found out I'm going to Lewiston, ID for work in the next few months. Anyone know if there are any ski areas near by? Spokane is about 2 hours North.

Giddy is the word you're looking for.

More water. I have a headache. I think I'll have a beer soon...against my better judgement about not drinking today.

Anyway, I could start a thread on this but I think it may be a silly question. I intended to put a 5' long brew table on the 8' wall of my shed. The walls were supposed to be 8' high, but they're 7'. No way to change that. If I put the wall on the 8' side with the window (closest to the electrical box) then is it silly to basically block the window with what will probably be half of the mash tun and half of the BK? I think I'm more of less thinking about safety. I was going to put blinds on the window and still can if I want, but I wasn't sure if it was a bad idea somehow.

The window sill is 42" from the ground. The alternative is I was thinking of an L-shaped brew table in the left corner as pictured.

I need to keep my control panel and sub panel on the rear of the building and it is preferred (also probably what I'm priced for) to keep it near the corner closest to the house, which is the left corner if you're looking on at the window.

If you are building your own tables I would make one into the corner. I wouldn't worry about safety as far as blocking that window goes unless it is against Code in your area. I couldn't imagine so with it being that near to the door. Code aside, you may be happier installing a corner table just to have access to the window for ventilation or whatever. It looks way too hot outside in that picture for the windows to be closed as it is.

It will be insulated/drywalled eventually yeah?

I change my own oil for the time savings/convenience. Only takes 45min including prep and cleanup to do both cars

Just spent my lunch break shoveling and taking the boys sledding in the backyard. I LOVE the snow

LOL it was 40F there when I took the photo. But I see your point.
The table will actually go like this if I leave it in the corner:
