It’s Father’s Day. I just got off the phone – I had a nice 4-way conversation with Beer-Loving Daughters #1, 2 & 3. So I guess my Father’s Day present is having them all converge on me and Beer-Loving Wife #1 in Mid July… Joy!

I think the real reason is they want to come for the free beer! Those Summer months can leave you really parched!

So today I’m just catching up on some light office work and sipping on a blender. Steigl makes some fine beers, but today it is a blender so I can keep my head together and sharp. That’s why I keep that half-rack of Bud Zeros around, a great blending beer if there ever was one! Back to work!

First pour of an IPA with a classic hop combo but with a modern twist. HB Cold IPA with Simcoe, Mosaic, Citra. But not in that order...The classics are called classics for a reason. This is excellent even though it needs to carb and settle a bit..
