Animated Brewing Co. chocolate vanilla porter from Secret Santa (aka @Brew_Dude41 - thanks!). Subtle flavors, medium carb, 4.9%, pretty good beer.
This doesn't taste like I remember... but not bad..

Don't have any pics here, but just finished off a Nugget Nectar.
Moved on to a Fiddlehead Second Fiddle.
If I finish this off before the game is over, I may move on to a homebrew Schwarzbier.

Had to check FG on the Black Pearl's Revenge in the fermenter today, so I opened a Piraat ale to compare flavor profiles. Close!
Unfortunately, in catching up on this thread, I drank the remaining Piraat ale and there's naught left in the glass to photograph.
Not that I really care all that much at this point, anyway. I'll likely be napping a bit before dinner.

Sullivan’s is no stranger to the Beermeister32 bierhoard, I’ve had a few of these tucked away for some time. What a great opportunity to crack one open for my British/Scottish/Irish beer drinking project! I drank one of these about a month or two ago and it was AAA+++ fantastic, and that’s no taradiddle!
Of all the Irish Reds I’ve had, I think this is my favorite, nice amount of head, great lacing, fantastic flavor, clean - and not at all cloying, unlike some of the domestic clones. This is a terrific drinking Irish Red, and I think all of you will love this.
Nice reddish color, 5% ABV, advertised as having some fruitiness that I’m not really picking up, just a great malt presentation and restrained hopping, Sullivan’s has been brewing great beers like this in Kilkenney, Ireland since 1702. Now I get the 14.9 oz size – fits my glass perfectly, and we know how the Irish feel about short pours… Fisticuffs! So good, I’ve already finished it GONE and I’ve only been writing a few minutes! Sláinte !!!

I'm still on my journey to determine why...I don't like Pilsners. Originally, I thought this was just a Miller Lite thing, but then I tried a bunch of "authentic" Pilsners, including Pilsner Urquell which proclaims to brew the original recipe. I also purchased a slew of macro Lagers & Pilsners (and then donated to a number of my less beer snobby friends what was left over) to try and figure out where my bias lie. It always ended up with not liking the drying spicy finish that based on my reading are from Noble hops.
Enter the New Zealand Pilsner, which isn't a style that I've attempted to brew yet but I also feel like I've been dipping my toes into leaning this way with my whole 2 kegs produced of DDH Japanese lagers using what are traditionally considered IPA hops.
