Sample of the American Wheat I’m taking to a Lion’s Club meeting on Wed. This has finished very nicely, I’m really pleased with it.

Freshes squeezed IPA while doing small batch stovetop biab (Raging Irish Red). Five gallon kettle works perfect for a 1.059 OG (2.5 gallon recipe) beer it seems.

Now on to a Deschutes Haze Tron Imperial IPA. Heating up for the boil currently. Finished the Irish red mash at 151° so held temp very well using the oven method (started at 154°).

Another Deschutes Mango IPA while the chiller takes care of business. Water out of the tap is 56°.

Brew day cleanup done and my first ever Bock (Dunkels Bock) in the fermenter. Its OG is at the extreme high end for style and at the low end for a Dopplebock at 1.073. Should be a nice winter beer. Hopefully ready to serve for Christmas company. It’ll be close, but fingers crossed. Thanks for the push @ThirstyPawsHB .

I know all IPAs aren't created equal but the vast majority of the ones I've had have seemed to be trying to show how bitter they can be brewed, so I stopped buying them. The only reason I have this one is it was in a variety pack and I wanted the other beers. I'll say I'm pleasantly surprised. Nice citrus aroma and taste, just a little bitterness that fades as my palate adjusts. Die hard IPA drinkers may not like this one at all but I won't mind drinking the other three.

I really like this! Malt, oak, bourbon, 10% abv...delicious! I wonder if aging a beer like this would make it better?

Had a huge busy day! Brewed a batch of NEIPA this morning. The kids helped and we ground and packaged about 50 pounds of last year’s deer meat, 15 pounds of beef burger and ground, seasoned and stuffed 20 pounds of deer summer sausage. Will smoke and cook the sausage tomorrow.
My daughter wanted a European skull mount of the deer she got this year so I did it for her. Started it last weekend and took it out of the peroxide wrap this afternoon. I think it turned out awesome. Got all the cleanup done and now my back is screaming at me. Had several Lites earlier and now some Irish before bed.

It came out awesome! I have mine sitting in my freezer. I maybe attempt it next week. I have never done one.
